Talk about the cutest little stores with the best colorful buildings as you walk through Shoreline Village in Long Beach. I was so sad as we were out walking and realized that we had left the camera in the car!! My absolutely amazing husband was so nice and sweet and ran all the way back to the car so we could get some pictures while we were there.  And I can't thank him enough for doing that cause we had so much fun with all our photo ops.  Later that night, my grandpa took us on his nightly sunset stroll on the boardwalk. Such gorgeous views all around this area that never give old. Enjoy the pics and video below of our day!

Post Christmas Vacation - San Diego

This past weekend, we all went together with my family to spend a night in downtown San Diego and explore all of our favorite areas.  The first day we drove out to Coronado Island and walked around the famous Hotel Del Coronado.  It was pretty funny to see ice skating on the beach, literally, where people were in shorts and tank tops.  It felt so good to be on the sand and walk along the water again.  Living in Utah in the heart of winter is when I really start to miss the warmer winters I grew up in.  That night we walked down to Seaport Village just in time for the sunset. Every time I see a beach sunset, I feel like its the prettiest one I've ever seen.  The next morning we ate the best breakfast on the beach and watched the surfers. We could've all sat there for hours.  After that we walked out on the cliffs at "Sunset Cliffs" where Tyson took his drone out for a flight.  He got such amazing footage of the ocean, surfers, and cliffs even though we were all so nervous about him flying it far out over the water!  We then ended our day in Balboa Park. This is a fun touristy place to go to where you have great people watching and interesting street performers. Such a perfect weekend and can't wait to go back!

Christmas Day: Married

This has by far been the best Christmas being able to spend it with a husband by my side. Holidays are just a million times better being married! After we spent a few hours this morning opening all of our amazing gifts here in California with my family, we decided to get outdoors, since we can here with this nice weather. Here are some photos from today and thanks to McKenna for being mine and Tyson's personal photographer!

Ugly Sweater Party!!

Last night we hosted our first Ugly Sweater Christmas Party at our house. It was such a fun night with treats, candy cane hot chocolate, Christmas charades, photo booth, Christmas music, friends, family, and lots of ugly sweaters! Some people didn't stop at the sweaters...you'll see below. I definitely feel like I'm in the heart of the Christmas season after last night (and especially waking up to a blanket of snow this morning!)Tyson set up a picture studio in our basement so we had everyone as they came, come and pose with the giant Christmas Stocking (Tanner we didn't get yours!) Later on in the night we played Christmas Charades, boys against girls(Girls won by the way!), and all laughed so hard at the way people acted out the Grinch, Christmas underwear, mistletoe, Santa coming down the Chimney, Christmas morning.....and lots more. Thanks everyone for coming!!
