I < 3 Pumpkin

I have to say that I am completely obsessed with everything pumpkin.  Once the official fall season was nearing, I went into pumpkin mode and bought my pumpkin cupcake soap, pumpkin sensie, pumpkin steamer (thank you Kneaders), pumpkin spice cake, you name it. We finally bought our actual pumpkins and got around to carving! We headed over to my mother-in-laws house to get our creative carvings on with my punkin's family. Even though Halloween is tomorrow, its never to late cause you always gotta carve a pumpkin this time a year! ..You can expect to see our pumpkins on the front porch till the day after Thanksgiving. Happy Halloween!!
P.S is there an age limit on trick or treating?

Here is Tyson's latest video of our trip to Havisupai this summer!

where the potatoes grow

Rounding up our fall break consisted of a road trip to Idaho to visit my grandparents who have recently moved there from California. Tyson and I were so excited to get away from work and our jobs and finally be together without having our computers in front of our face.  My two sisters and nephew made the drive the day before us, and then we left the following day bringing along Tyson's two sisters to vacation with us.  Even though it was a very quick trip, we all had so much fun and did as much as we could during those three days:

-Walked around the village
-Shopping
-Watched a water show under heat lamps
-Ice cream and hot fudge every day
-Boise Farmer's Market
-Ate the best crepes and guacamole (not together)
-Hiked Table Rock
-Flew drones
-Adventured through grandparents neighborhood to look for grandpas drone that was carried away with the wind and dropped down
-Found grandpa's drone broken to pieces in the street
-Played games
-Shoshone Falls on the way home

Idaho we will be back again.

Drive. Stop. Pic. Pic. Video. Repeat.

After church and a nice home cooked meal with my man, we decided to go on the famous drive this time of year, the Alpine Loop, to see all the amazing fall colors throughout the canyon...and lemme tell ya...it was the most breathtaking view throughout the whole. entire. drive. I'm so glad we brought along a camera..and also Tyson's birthday present he finally got to play with..Phantom 2+! Scroll down to the bottom of the post to see the short video clip he put together! We felt like tourists in our own area where we live and didn't care one bit. I told Tyson I will always be a tourist here (since I'm still claiming California as my home) and he told me I need to get over that since I married a Utahan and I've been here for two years... I'll have to think about that one for awhile.

Here is the video Tyson put together so you can see it from a bird's eye view!
